Deleting a web service

You can remove a web service from the list that is entered incorrectly or no longer used.

You cannot delete a web service that is currently defined for use by an authentication server or is selected as part of a search site. For more information, see Deleting an authentication server definition or Deleting a Discovery source site.

If you attempt to delete a web service that is being used, an error message will appear.

If you delete a web service that is being used by a custom book list, the book river widget may appear on the page with no content. You should remove it from the list in any room where it was selected.

To delete a web service

  1. Log in to the Admin console.
  2. Choose Web Services.
  3. Choose the Delete option next to the web service you want to remove from the list.
  4. Choose OK in the confirmation box. The web service is removed from the list.
